Founded in 1942, Mid‑Continent Coal and Coke Company built its reputation through decades of coal mining, coke production and coke processing across the United States, supplying high‑carbon metallurgical coke to the steel, alloy, and chemical industries.


Today, Mid‑Continent is a global carbon solutions provider headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, serving customers on five continents. We market and distribute a full range of carbon products supported by 15 processing facilities, five drying operations, and a extensive logistics network.


Our long‑standing partnerships with major North American producers, combined with flexible transportation options from truckload to ocean vessel, allow us to deliver consistent, precisely sized products that support modern steelmaking operations worldwide.
